I'm in my 40s and still have rosacea-acne that's been very difficult to control and requires oral antibiotics and topical treatments. The Ultra Calming mist calms the redness after cleansing with Cetaphil (really a fine cleanser). I don't think this Mist it's as good as the product it replaces, the Soothing Protection spray, but it's still alright. I spray it onto a cotton ball and it wipes away dead skin cells, whatever the cleanser doesn't get each night. And my face feels much better. I hope these comments are forwarded to Dermalogica because it's a real ripoff to make a product smaller, charge the same price, and make it inferior. But maybe they can get away with it because of suckers like me who think it's still better than most other toners.

I purchased this for my daughter who has very complicated skin. She flushes so easily and when she does her face becomes covered in a bumpy and itchy rash. After seeing several doctors and given various creams nothing was working. I have used Dermalogica for years and love it. I ordered the UltraCalming line for her. This mist is her new best friend. As soon as she begins to feel her skin itch, she sprays this product on and it stops the discomfort immediately. This is a must for her.

My daughter has dry,red, itchy skin. Any type of exercise causes it to flare up. The itching is terrible. She loves this mist. If she feels the itching begin she sprays her face lightly and it stops the redness and itching on the spot. Just reordered it for her.

this product feels so good on your skin. when my skin is dry if I use this a few times a day, it will help a lot. Also you can use over your makeup and will not smear it.

UltraDrying Mist Sadly disappointed. The UltraCalming Mist is Dermalogica's weak replacement for the Soothing Protection Spray. I don't like it. The problem is the two products are nothing alike. To call it a replacement is plain wrong. Not only does it not hydrate my face it dry's it out just like every other product I used prior to finding the Soothing Protection Spay! Yes, the old product had an oily residue which I found locked in the moisture while locking out the pollutants that irritated my skin. To add insult to injury UltraCalming Mist is only 6oz! That's two oz shorter than the Soothing Protection Spray it replaced but at the same price! Way to stick to your customers Dermalogica.

I loved the Soothing Protection Spray. After reading the reviews for the UltraCalming Mist replacement, I will not order it. Please bring back the Soothing Protection Spray.

I hate that you replaced soothing protection spray. there was nothing wrong with it at all. it was perfect. i'm very disappointed dermalogica felt the need to do this, when so many of us love the product THE WAY IT WAS.
